Like the rest of the range it is warm forged from 6082 aluminium with the grain flow aligned for strength, and 6082 has better mechanical properties and corrosion resistance than the more common 6061.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTwo 5\/8 inch hitch pin holes give you two mounting positions in any 2.5 inch hitch, and a third hole lets you rotate the receiver 90 degrees for extra recovery and towing options.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe main mounting hole has a large radius on its outer edges, so it won't tear soft shackles, synthetic ropes, tree savers or strap eyes the way sharp-edged receivers can.
