Our Colors Moose Knuckle Offroad Colors At Moose Knuckle Offroad, we believe that a high-performance product deserves a high-performance finish. That’s why we use a range of advanced surface treatments – including powder coating, anodization, and plating – across our product line. Each method is selected for its durability and ability to withstand the harshest conditions, whether you're deep in the trail, working in the shop, or showcasing your build. These finishes offer exceptional protection against corrosion, abrasion, and UV exposure, while maintaining a clean, professional appearance. Our lineup of finishes is carefully curated to support a wide range of applications – from OEM-style neutrals to bold, high-visibility colors. Standard Powder Coat Colors All of our powder-coated products are first electroplated with a thin layer of zinc to enhance corrosion resistance. This process uses an electric current to deposit zinc onto the steel surface, creating a uniform and tightly bonded protective layer. Electroplating not only improves resistance to rust and oxidation but also provides an ideal surface for powder coating, enhancing adhesion and long-term durability. The result is a high-performance finish built to withstand harsh environments and demanding off-road conditions. Black Hole - RAL 9005 – Deep, jet black with a consistent gloss finish. Durable, timeless and so dark it might bend light during your night runs. 🌑🕳 Gun Gray - RAL 7015 – Dark slate gray with a subtle undertone. Understated, functional and built like a weapon - clean, precise, and always ready for trail action. 🔫⚙ Pure White - RAL 9003 – High-opacity, bright white. Clean and high-contrast for maximum visibility or aesthetic neutrality - like fresh snow on a mountain pass, it makes everything else stand out. 🏔❄ Grape Escape - PSS-1676 – Prismatic’s proprietary high-gloss purple. Bold, and extremely UV-stable. Loud, rich, and unapologetic - like a jailbreak for boring builds. 🍇⛰️ Blue Balls - RAL 5005 – Intense signal blue. Bright, dynamic, and ideal for custom builds. Higher visual intensity than RAL 4003. Like your favorite bronze wheels—bold, refined, and built to turn heads on every ride. 💪🏼🥉 Specialty Finishes Nice Gal - Galvanized / Nickel Coated – Industrial-grade zinc/nickel coating. Corrosion-resistant and maintenance-friendly. Non-powder coated. She’s tough, she’s shiny, and she won’t ask for much—just a little respect and a lot of miles. 🔩⚙ Brass Knuckle - Yellow Zinc Coated – Electroplated yellow zinc for enhanced corrosion resistance and a bold metallic tone. Tough as a Grade 8 bolt—strong, reliable, and built to hold tight under pressure. 🔩🏆 Raw Finish (Uncoated | Custom Color Ready) Raw Dog - Uncoated / Bare SteelThis "Raw Dog" option is intentionally left uncoated and ready to add primer and paint or powder coating so you can color match your vehicle build or just add any finish of your choosing. Class 6H/6b (2A and 2B equivalent) thread tolerances between the pin and body allow for the addition of these coatings without hindering assembly. Gloss or satin CLEAR powders or paints can be added to maintain RAW metal appearance while also preventing rust and corrosion. WARNING: This uncoated finish will oxidize and rust if left untreated. Recommended only for customers who intend to apply a custom finish. Anodized Coatings In addition to powder coating, we also offer a selection of anodized finishes on all our Aluminum products. Anodizing is an electrochemical process that increases surface hardness, corrosion resistance, and wear tolerance while allowing for the integration of vibrant metallic colors. This finish is ideal for aluminum components where strength, precision, and appearance are critical. Black Lung – Black Anodized - Matte black finish with excellent abrasion resistance and a clean, tactical look. Stealth mode engaged—this finish is as tough and low-profile as it gets. ⚫🚬 Gray Skull – Hard Anodized - Dark gray finish with enhanced surface hardness for maximum durability. Ideal for high-wear applications. Engineered for superior wear resistance and corrosion protection, delivering long-lasting performance in demanding environments. ⚒💀 Atomic Silver – Silver Anodized - Clear, metallic silver with a subtle industrial sheen. Clean and corrosion-resistant. Gives your vehicle a sharp, standout look that’s hard to miss—even if you’re trying to be low-key. ☢🥈 Red Rum – Red Anodized - Bright, metallic red with strong visual contrast and a smooth surface profile. As unforgettable as the word ‘murder’ spelled backwards—this finish haunts every glance. 🔪🩸 Blue Pill – Blue Anodized - Rich anodized blue with high color consistency and a refined, technical appearance. How It All Started My name is Alan, and I'm the owner and developer at Diabolical. My career started out on the path into Drafting and Architecture, but I wanted more of a challenge. So I turned to aviation starting with the US Air Force and the F-15 Eagle. I have 30+ years with Military and Corporate aircraft experience. While working with the most advanced technology and tooling, I wanted to develop my own tooling and designs. I always wanted those key attributes in my own vehicles, but I never found anything that fit my personality and demands. The Slipstream storage systems were my first designs. Something to carry my own gear for work and for play. This is my aviation version of an "Aft Baggage Compartment". Extremely lightweight, multi-use, safe and secure. One size DOES NOT fit all. That's why our unique design at Diabolical Inc allows for installation in almost any type of vehicle—car, SUV or truck—with multiple sizes and features as standard.
