The fuel head spacer kit is a simple addition to give a bit more wiggle room when it comes time to service your Duramax fuel filter.
The spacer provides some more room to navigate a filter wrench onto the filter beside the valve covers and a mess of hoses and wiring.
All that is involved to install this is to remove the two bolts keeping the filter head on, replacing them one at a time with the included bolts, and slipping the spacer over top before tightening them both down. No fuel lines or wires need to move or be extended.
