Designed with heavy duty truck use in mind, this spring provides rugged load handling capabilities while maintaining an extremely comfortable ride. Using top rated material we can produce a plush ride with minimal spring sag. Our true Dual Rate Spring can truly provide the best of both worlds. Mile after mile our springs will hold up to any truck, and any job. Installing these coils on a gas Super Duty will result in a VERY stiff ride. We DO NOT recommend this whatsoever.Β
2.5β vs 3.5β Lift Explained
Ford changed the factory ride height of the Super Duty platform starting in 2020, lowering the front suspension approximately 1β compared to 2005-2019 trucks. Because of this, the exact same Kryptonite leveling spring will produce different lift heights depending on model year.
- 2005-2019 Super Duty trucks will see approximately 2.5β of front lift
- 2020+ Super Duty trucks will see approximately 3.5β of front lift
No changes were made to the spring itself, the newer trucks simply start from a lower factory ride height.
2020+ Tremor models already include a factory lifted suspension package and sit approximately 2β taller than a standard Super Duty from the factory. On Tremor-equipped trucks, these springs will provide approximately 1.5β of additional front lift.
