The LM2 Duramax fueling system has an Achilles heel in its lack of a fuel cap. We've solved that issue with our fix kit fuel cap. Our fuel caps incorporate a 20lb pull strength magnet for easy holding during refilling, a stainless steel sleeve, and a split clamp to keep your plastic filler neck from breaking, or to fix it when it does.
Our Fix Kit Cap (A077) fixes a common problem with these cap-less trucks. The plastic filler neck is extremely prone to breaking, especially in cold Canadian winters. This is why we've designed a fix-kit, that can fix already broken filler necks, or protect them from future breaks. The unique high-strength sleeve and split clamp system integrates onto your truck's OEM filler neck, creating a durable way to interface with pump nozzles. We like Dirty Diesels, we don't like dirty-diesel fuel.
