Moose Knuckle Mohawk Heavy Metal Receiver 2.0 x 7/8
The Mohawk goes heavy metal. This version of our 2.0 inch shackle hitch receiver is machined from carbon steel instead of aluminium, so you can run a bigger 7/8 split shackle or tow shackle straight off a standard 2 x 2 inch tow bar hitch.
Switching to steel lifts the working load limit to 18,000 lbs and the minimum breaking strength to 90,000 lbs, and the larger 1 inch pin hole takes 7/8 shackles without compromise. A sleeve adapter is included so your 3/4 shackles still fit. Chamfered edges and a tough powder coat finish give it a meaner look than the original Mohawk.
Two hitch pin holes let you set the receiver tight to the bumper or further out, and a third hole lets you rotate it 90 degrees so the shackle can swing horizontally for awkward pull angles.
The large-radius connection point carries over from the aluminium Mohawk, so it won't chew through soft shackles, synthetic winch rope, tree savers or strap eyes the way sharp-edged receivers do. The signature spined perimeter adds material where the load goes and keeps the Mohawk look.
